Modifications to be tested at Magny CoursDavid Coulthard has revised his goals for the 2007 season, predicting that fifth place for Red Bull in the constructors' championship is realistic.
"At the moment we're not going to achieve the goals I had for the year," the
Scot, currently in Bahrain for the final test of the 2007 pre-season, told F1's official website.
The RB3 car has proved a disappointment of the winter period, after languishing near the bottom of the daily time sheets and regularly breaking down.
Coulthard suggested that Milton Keynes based Red Bull has not yet got 'the right mix' of 'technical investment and facilities'.
He added: "That's what we need to continue to develop at Red Bull and then the results will come."
Meanwhile, after it emerged last week that Red Bull is planning another test to follow Bahrain, we have learned that it could take place over two days at Magny Cours.
The final European run has been scheduled to trial a raft of last-minute updates, including new front and rear wings and under body, for the RB3.
Two independent sources have now backed speculation that Magny Cours, not usually used for F1 testing since Ligier was based near the circuit in the 1990s, could stage the test.
