Confidence building at FerrariFelipe Massa says he earned the respect of the Ferrari team in the second half of last year.
The Brazilian has been singled out as a real rival for his highly rated team-mate
Kimi Raikkonen in 2007, and to the newspaper O Estado de Sao
Paolo he admitted that he feels respected by the Maranello based camp.
"From the middle of last year I could really feel that I was earning their respect," Massa said, "and that they really listen to what I am saying."
"I really started getting fully involved in the development process and at the moment I am feeling really comfortable. I see this as a really good moment for me."
Massa said he learned a lot last year from
Michael Schumacher.
"Now I feel like an important part of the team," Massa continued. "Michael did an incredible job in all areas, he is the most complete driver I have ever known and I tried to learn as much as I could from him."
