Bahrain goes F1 mad
Gearing up for the big test
The local media in Bahrain is getting into a high gear as the Formula One circus flies into town for its hot-weather test.

Newspapers are indulging in unprecedented levels of coverage as ten of the twelve teams prepare to test on the Sakhir
Grand Prix track.

The daily Bahrain Tribune reports that on Tuesday Honda became the first squad to set up its garage, after the Formula One Management jets flew in 40 tonnes of equipment.

Honda's Jenson Button was reportedly also spotted at the circuit.

Another local publication, Gulf Daily News, published a photograph of Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton apparently entering the arrivals' lounge at the airport, ahead of the first action on Thursday morning.

Rubens Barrichello, Mark Webber, Anthony Davidson, Scott Speed, Heikki Kovalainen and Tonio Liuzzi also touched down on Tuesday evening, the newspaper said, but it misspelt the name of another arrival, BMW's 'Nick Heidfleld'.
