The daily Bahrain Tribune reports that on Tuesday Honda became the first squad to set up its garage, after the Formula One Management jets flew in 40 tonnes of equipment.
Honda's
Jenson Button was reportedly also spotted at the circuit.
Another local publication, Gulf Daily News, published a photograph of Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton apparently entering the arrivals' lounge at the airport, ahead of the first action on Thursday morning.
Rubens Barrichello, Mark Webber, Anthony Davidson, Scott Speed, Heikki Kovalainen and Tonio Liuzzi also touched down on Tuesday evening, the newspaper said, but it misspelt the name of another arrival, BMW's 'Nick Heidfleld'.
