To complete the season after AustraliaNarain Karthikeyan will return to the A1GP circuit after this weekend's Sydney race.
The 30-year-old debuted impressively for Team India in New Zealand earlier this month, but has to sit out the subsequent round in Australia
because it clashes with the launch of Williams' new car on Friday.
Karthikeyan is an official test driver for the Oxfordshire squad.
"Unfortunately Narain has to head for the UK this weekend," said Team India's Yohann Setna, "but the good news is that he will race for us in the four subsequent rounds."
After Australia, A1 heads to Durban, Mexico City, Shanghai and Brands Hatch.
