Lap one failure for the RA107 'no big deal'Team principal Nick Fry rejected as 'harsh' observations in the media that Honda got off to a typically unreliable start with its new RA107 car.
Jenson Button now famously ground to a halt at Circuit de Catalunya within
a few corners of his Thursday debut in the 2007 machine, prompting the German publication Focus to headline that the all-black car is 'Unpainted and broken'.
Fry, however, insisted that Thursday was actually the RA107's third day on a test track and told f1grandprix.
it: "This morning a wire came off the gearbox, something that can be fixed very easily. So no big deal."
Honda continue running on Friday.
