Recovered Button coy on future in F1
Targeting a dig at the drivers' championship
Honda racer Jenson Button says there might not be time for him to eclipse Michael Schumacher's record of seven world titles.
The Briton won his first grand prix in his seventh season of formula one last year, but is targeting
a dig at the drivers' championship in 2007.

Button turned 27 last Friday, and told the English broadsheet 'The Times' that he might not be a fixture of the F1 circus by the age of 34. In a sixteen year career, Schumacher retired at the end of 2006 aged 38.

"I don't know whether I want to be around for seven more years," Button said. "I'll have to wait and see. My goal is to win the world championship and then we'll see what happens. I'm not going to plan too much into the future. My future at the moment is this year and that's all I'm looking at."

Button, now reportedly recovered after holidaying in Lanzarote, has been sitting out the recent pre-season tests with fractured ribs.

His team, Honda, intends to debut its new 'RA107' car on Monday. Referring albeit coyly to the 2007 machine, Button said : "Everything is better. If it weren't we'd be doing something wrong."
