Formula Charity event at Villars-sur-OllonHe might no longer be a Formula One driver, but Jacques
Jacques Villeneuve will still make his traditional appearance at the 'Formula Charity' ski event for charity this weekend.
The former World Champion, who will contest Le Mans
for Peugeot in 2007 and is also tipped for a NASCAR foray, has headlined the event - which culminates in a 24-hour skiing and snowboarding marathon - since his days as a Williams racer.
It is held at the Villars-sur-Ollon resort, near where
Jacques Villeneuve's manager Craig Pollock has a home.
Jacques Villeneuve will make a stage appearance alongside the artist Garou in 2007.
The French Canadian, 35, 'will preview some of his forthcoming debut album Private Paradise,' a statement said.
Villars regular David Coulthard will attend the event but not actually race, as will former F1 racer Patrick Tambay and sometime Spyker tester Giorgio Mondini. The event was first staged in 1998.
