No apology for dumped Monteiro - Sutil
''That's just the way the business works''
German rookie Adrian Sutil has refused to apologise for taking over Tiago Monteiro's Spyker race seat.

Monteiro, 30, drove for the Silverstone based squad when it was called Jordan and Midland in 2005 and 2006, and had expected
that his Portuguese sponsorship would also secure the seat this year.

Sutil, however, said accepting setbacks is simply a part of modern F1.

"That's just the way the Formula One business works these days," the website Sport1 quoted the 23-year-old as saying.

Sutil admitted that Monteiro was probably surprised by the news that a rookie, on a long term contract, had taken his well-funded seat.

"He brought along a lot of sponsor money, but this is no longer as important to Spyker as it may have been in the past," he added.

Sutil, however, nonetheless does bring some backing to the Dutch squad, and said: "They believe in my achievements and that is why they took me on.

"I wish Tiago all the best in finding another place, but I don't feel I have to apologise for anything I have done."
