BMW set to decide on Timo GlockAdrian Sutil will become a regular at F1 circuits in 2007, according to his manager. The 23-year-old German, who is the reigning champion of Japanese F3, appeared a few times for Spyker MF1 Racing as a Friday test driver this year, and retains
links with the Dutch owned team.
Silverstone based Spyker has not named a team-mate for
Christijan Albers in 2007, but incumbent
Tiago Monteiro has been widely tipped to get the nod some time next week. If he fails to secure the Spyker race seat, Sutil could end up in Toyota's test camp next year, the Dutch magazine Formule 1 Race Report said.
His manager, Manfred Zimmermann, is quoted as saying: "In 2007, you will see Adrian again in Formula One.
"
"He will be completely integrated with a team," Zimmermann told another publication, Auto Bild.
Meanwhile, as BMW Sauber unveiled a new $10m Intel supercomputer to international journalists at Hinwil on Thursday, team boss Mario Theissen said a decision about Germany's Timo Glock will be made before Christmas.
Glock could become a ‘fourth driver’ alongside Friday regular Sebastian Vettel next year, but Theissen also insisted: "Nothing is decided yet."
