Suganuma, Michael, to have different roles in '07
Changes at Bridgestone and Williams
Two familiar faces may not be seen at every Grand Prix next year, it emerged at Sao Paulo on Sunday.
Ahead of the last race of the season, speculation was rife that Technical Manager Hisao Suganuma would be returning to Japan next year
as Bridgestone becomes the sport's sole tyre supplier.

It was not immediately clear who his replacement will be.

The other face that could cease to be a regular fixture of the F1 circus in 2007 is Williams' Sam Michael, with reports on the website of British magazine Autosport saying that his role is to be 'redefined'.

Rumblings about the Australian's position arose early this weekend, when it emerged that former Technical Director Patrick Head - and not Michael, today's occupant of the role - had travelled to Brazil.

Head said: "I think in truth (Sam's) focus probably stayed a bit too much on the operations side and not enough around the factory."

At Interlagos on Sunday morning, meanwhile, it was apparent that rain would not affect the seventy-lap Brazilian Grand Prix at 2pm, even if the weather was perhaps cooler than forecast.
