Tyres the key to Magny Cours successRoss Brawn says he is 'quite confident' that Ferrari can keep up its renewed pace at the next Grand Prix.
Although Renault, Michelin and
Fernando Alonso have proved the more consistently-dominant combination so far in 2006, all three
had an off weekend at Indy.
“Yes, it depends on the tyre situation,” Ferrari's Technical Director told reporters, “because in my opinion the cars are quite similar.”
Brawn, who flies back to Italy this evening, added: “We are in good spirits and have a big test at Jerez next week.”
The next race is in France in a fortnight.
Alonso said: “We knew Ferrari would be strong here but at Magny Cours hopefully we can strike back with a victory.”
