It’s about the racing claims BriatoreFlavio Briatore has hit out at French marque Renault's competitors, labelling carmakers including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Honda and Toyota as the 'hooligans' of Formula One.
Apparently losing his temper over the never-ending argument
about the FIA's engine 'freeze' for 2007 and beyond, Briatore was quoted as saying by Bild newspaper that the quartet should focus more on improving the spectacle of the sport.
"Our job is to race," the Italian told the newspaper.
"We need to improve ourselves so that some racing occurs also away from the pit lane."
"My manufacturer friends should finally understand this, but instead these hooligans only want to spend more money."
