More disappointment for Williams' RookieAfter qualifying a miserable nineteenth at Indianapolis, Williams' Nico Rosberg has been sent to the very rear of the grid by the stewards.
When requested, the German rookie failed to drive into the FIA weigh-bridge to have the
legality of his car checked.
"We don't really know where the problem is," Rosberg rued after missing even the first cut in qualifying, "but we knew today would be difficult for us."
The FIA said in a statement: "The driver ignored a signal during qualifying which required him to go to the FIA garage for his car to be weighed," adding all his qualifying times were annulled and he had to start on the 11th row. Rosberg had initially finished in 19th place and was downgraded to 22nd.
