Ferrari enjoying Bridgestone advantage'Tyres' is the keyword at Indianapolis, according to key figures on both sides of the US GP battle.
After watching his championship leader
Fernando Alonso's run of Pole Positions end on Saturday, Renault boss Flavio Briatore said
immediately after qualifying: "The Bridgestones are working much better than our (Michelin) tyres here."
Ferrari's Ross Brawn, on the other hand, agreed that at least some of the one-second advantage enjoyed by
Michael Schumacher so far is all about tyre pace.
"The (Bridgestone) tyres are working very, very well here," said the Technical Director.
Brawn added, however, that he thought Alonso, fifth, is on the 'harder' Michelin tyre, which should work better in the race.
