No changes for McLaren-bound AlonsoFernando Alonso has denied that his decision to leave Renault at the end of 2006 has made life difficult at the team in 2006.
"The team has been very nice with me; there is no difference," the 24-year-old said at Indianapolis.
Speaking
to the press in America, Alonso also rejected suggestions that he could be regretting abandoning his dominant team for McLaren Mercedes, which hasn't won a title since 1999 or a single race so far this season.
He insisted: "I have to believe McLaren will be competitive. Honestly, I think in 2007, 2008 and 2009, McLaren will be the best team."
