Angry words from an unidentified driverAlthough
Michael Schumacher emerged unscathed from a drivers' meeting at Silverstone, the former Champion is still likely to be booted out of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association.
Bild am Sonntag newspaper in Germany carried a report
on Sunday claiming that, as a belated reaction to his 'Rascasse' indiscretion during Monaco qualifying, the Ferrari driver will not be re-elected as a Director at a Turkish Grand Prix vote in August.
"(There) we will end Michael's term as Director," an unnamed driver told the newspaper. "We have had enough of his sinister actions (and) we no longer want to be represented by him."
Jacques
Jacques Villeneuve, one of the members who resigned in protest, suggested knowledge in Montreal of Schumacher's impending demise.
Referring to Schumacher's apparent attack on his fledgling music career, the Canadian said: "Michael will find out at some stage what kind of effect his stupid talk has."
