Montagny to race beyond Monaco
Expected to race at Silverstone
Super Aguri has told Franck Montagny that he can race for the Japanese team beyond Sunday's Monaco GP, it is revealed.
The Frenchman, drafted in to temporarily replace Yuji Ide as Takuma Sato's 2006 team-mate, had not been guaranteed a
ride beyond the Monte Carlo event.
But we can now reveal that Montagny, the former Renault tester who debuted at the Nurburgring-Barcelona double header, will definitely remain in the car for the Silverstone race in two weeks.

He may even stay beyond that, although team principal Aguri Suzuki is still thought to be under pressure to find a Japanese team-mate for Sato.

28-year-old Montagny last week thanked Suzuki for giving him a leg-up in the top category.

He added ahead of Monaco: "It will be a hard race for sure, but I am very much looking forward to the most famous race of the season and I am very glad to be taking part."
