Rosberg, confirmed again for the Grove-based team again next season alongside Kazuki Nakajima, completed 113 laps with a best lap of 1:21.525s which was good for seventh best on the day.
“Nico Rosberg joined us today to carry on set-up and development work with the new slick tyres," stated Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford.
"Once again we were running components from the 2009 aero package and experienced no mechanical problems with the car."
"Tonight we will convert the chassis back to Nico Hulkenberg’s set-up who resumes testing tomorrow," he added.
