Jerez - Red Bull Renault - Test Day 4The Red Bull Racing driving duties for the final day of testing of the 2008 Formula 1 season were carried out by test and reserve driver Sebastien Buemi.
The workday at the Jerez circuit was primarily dedicated to aero work and
evaluation of several new components for the final four races of the year.
Apart from a small delay with a mechanical problem, the day was productive and the high number of laps made up for time lost during the first two days, in part due to Thursday's rainy weather.
Buemi completed 84 laps and established the day's fifth-best time while evaluating components and collecting data for the team.
"Definitely the best of the three days," commented Chief Test Engineer Ian Morgan.
"Basically, Seb hardly got out of the car and every time he came into the pits, we put something new on for him to try. Hopefully, the race team can see the results in the coming flyaway races."
The hard-working Red Bull Racing test team crew now get the chance to catch their breath, as the next official test session is post-season, on 17th November in Barcelona.
