Massa tests F2008 aero updates
Barcelona - Ferrari - Test day 1
Today marked the first day of testing for Ferrari at Circuit de Catalunya as the team plan to test alone for a third and final day alone at the circuit on Friday.

On a day when the circuit was affected by intermittent rainfall, Felipe
Massa and Luca Badoer were the two drivers designated to start this test.

The Brazilian driver debuted some updated aerodynamic component on the F2008 - notably a new rear wing - while the team’s official test driver continued with development of the standard version of the F2008.

Given the wet conditions, the team decided to limit the mileage schedule for today and therefore Massa completed just 40 laps but did set the pace with a best time of 1:30.673s.

Badoer completed 33 laps with a best of 1:31.288s and was third fastest behind Massa and Mark Webber's Red Bull Renault.

The duo remain on track tomorrow.
