Jerez - Red Bull Renault - Test day 3It’s all well and good heading for Southern Spain to get the warmest of the European winter weather, but with Jerez de la Frontera located on the breezy Atlantic coast, strong winds are an ever present threat.
Yet again today,
gusty conditions meant that it was difficult to draw any meaningful results on the aerodynamic and balance front.
All the same, Mark Webber had a good day exploring the performance potential of the new car, leading to an encouraging fastest time of the day with a best lap of 1:18.628s.
The Australian had a few unscheduled stops, but David Coulthard got through all his scheduled programme and was seventh fastest on a 1:19.883.
Both are back on track tomorrow for the final day of the test.
