Sakhir - Ferrari - Test day 1
Testing began today for the Ferrari team at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. World Champion Kimi Raikkonen and test driver Luca Badoer enjoyed warm temperatures and clear skies during this opening session, which was also windy as expected.

Both drivers have begun work on a busy technical programme, concentrating mostly on general development of the car, finding the best set-up and working the electronics.

Raikkonen completed 68 laps, his fastest in 1:32.079. Badoer counted 72 laps with a quickest run of 1:33.323.

Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow when once again, Badoer and Raikkonen will be on track.
