Barcelona - Toro Rosso Ferrari - Test day 1The Spanish winter tour continued today with a visit to the Catalunya circuit near Barcelona.
Sebastien Bourdais worked on evaluating a new front suspension set-up on the STR2-01, while also running through a race weekend
scenario, practicing pit-stops and other elements of F1 that will be new to the Frenchman this season.
As for Sebastian Vettel, he was evaluating brake materials and also going through some race situations in the STR2-02.
The cold weather made track conditions difficult, which might explain the amazing total of nine session-stopping red flags today.
Vettel put in 90 laps with a best lap of 1:23.378s, eighth fastest while Bourdais posted 65 timed laps and was 12th best on a 1:23.836s.
Both Vettel and Bourdais continue running tomorrow.
