Monza - Williams Toyota - Test Day 3After the rains hit the Monza circuit today, Nico Rosberg was able to get on track as the circuit dried in the afternoon to put in 45 laps, his fastest of the day coming on his penultimate lap.
The German racer ended the day seventh
fastest of the 11 runners, with a best lap of 1:24.983s.
"After a very heavy downpour which lasted for about two and a half hours this morning, the weather cleared at lunchtime leaving blue skies and temperatures reaching 25°C," Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford stated.
"During the limited window of running the weather afforded us, we continued with our set-up work prior to the race here with Nico in the car.
"Due to the poor weather conditions, we’ll be staying another day with the majority of the other teams in order to finish our programme."
