Silverstone - BMW Sauber - Test Day 3The team had a nice surprise on the final day of the three-day test session in Silverstone, as the weather was better than expected so the full scheduled programme was completed under a mix of sunshine, clouds and a shower during the
lunch break.
Timo Glock temporarily put aside his GP2 duties to complete his second consecutive day of testing for the BMW Sauber team, running a distance of 411 km (80 laps). The work for the day included the testing of tyres, different suspension parts and the aerodynamics.
The test has been very positive and so the team is happy with the work done for the British Grand Prix.
Between
Nick Heidfeld, who drove on Tuesday, and Timo Glock, who drove on Wednesday and today, the team covered a total of 1,048 kilometres.
The next test will be at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on the 10th, 11th, and 12th July where Robert Kubica and
Nick Heidfeld are expected to share the driving duties.
