Paul Ricard - McLaren Mercedes - Testing Day 3Pedro de la Rosa joined the test team in the south of France today, as work at the Paul Ricard track changed to preparations for the Canadian and United States Grand Prix.
Using the 1E SC circuit configuration, the team
was able to run the aero packages for the two races on long straights, with hard braking zones.
In addition, Bridgestone Potenza tyre selection was a focus, with Pedro also looking at brakes and set-ups for the North American double header.
While Lewis Hamilton set the pace on day one and day two of the test, de la Rosa had to be content with eighth fastest today, just over half a second off the pace of Ferrari rival
Kimi Raikkonen.
