Paul Ricard - BMW Sauber - Testing Day 3Today, the drivers were running on the 5.255 km version of the track in preparation for the forthcoming races in Canada and the US. However, due to wind and light rain in the afternoon, the conditions were not ideal.

Kubica started the day defining a baseline setup for a medium downforce configuration. He then tested different downforce options.
Part of today's programme was the comparison of the two tyre compounds for the two forthcoming races. In addition, Kubica made several practice starts. The team was able to complete the planned programme.
Kubica completed 83 laps with a best time of 1:29.
157s, good for P4.
Nick Heidfeld will take over driving duties from Kubica tomorrow and will continue preparation for the medium downforce tracks.
