Paul Ricard - McLaren Mercedes - Testing Day 1The test plan today for McLaren Mercedes began with a focus on set-up work and Bridgestone Potenza tyre evaluation for the Monaco Grand Prix on the 2D SC circuit configuration.
Alongside this, Lewis Hamilton and the
test team spent time on the mechanical development of the MP4-22.
Hamilton would completed 98 laps of the 3.593km circuit, recording the fastest lap of the day on a 1:05.699.
Hamilton will run again on Tuesday before handing over to Pedro de la Rosa.
