Vouilloz wants more Skoda IRC outings
Nicolas Vouilloz doesn’t want his third place finish on the Monte Carlo Rally to be his only appearance with the Skoda Motorsport team in this year’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge.

Skoda Motorsport says it is too early to start thinking about winning the Intercontinental Rally Challenge Manufacturers´ title, despite two of its works drivers finishing on the podium of the Monte Carlo Rally.

Sebastien Ogier has retired from the Monte Carlo Rally. He was in second place overall heading to the penultimate stage of the event when he stopped. His Peugeot 207 Super 2000 suffered a broken alternatator pulley shaft and went no further.

Hirvonen won´t slow down in Monte Carlo
Mikko Hirvonen will continue to drive flat-out on the final two stages of the Monte Carlo Rally, even though he has increased his lead over Sebastien Ogier to 46.1 seconds.

Ogier had steadily trimmed Hirvonen's advantage with a series of stage wins but couldn't match the Fiesta driver's pace on stage 13.
