Vermeulen signs for Kawasaki WSB Team
Chris Vermeulen, one of the few riders to win both MotoGP and World Superbike races, has joined the Kawasaki World Superbike Racing Team for the 2010 season.

Currently racing in MotoGP, Vermeulen will soon apply his talents to the official WSB Ninja ZX-10R and will get his first chance to ride the machine during tests in November.

A tightly fought Grand Prix of Portugal saw Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa take his eighth podium finish of the season and record the fastest lap of the race at Estoril today.

Outstanding podium for Stoner
The Ducati Marlboro Team celebrated the return of Casey Stoner with podium champagne in Portugal today as the Australian guided his GP9 back to the podium with a stunning second place.

Stoner was back to riding in his style, fast, over all 28 laps of the Estoril race, with only eventual race winner Jorge Lorenzo able to better him.

Espargaro takes the win !
Pol Espargaro won the 125cc Portuguese GP, on Sunday.

While many of the leaders, including pole-sitter Julian Simon, went to the ground, the Derbi rider kept his Derbi firmly on track to take his second win of the season, ahead of Sandro Cortese and Bradley Smith.

orge Lorenzo won the Portuguese GP on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Estoril.

Having been fastest in practice and qualifying, the Fiat Yamaha rider went on to dominate the race almost from lights to flag.

Marco Simoncelli won the Portuguese GP on Sunday afternoon, at Estoril.

The Metis Gilera rider took the lead in the fourth lap and never looked back, eventually crossing the finish line five seconds ahead of Héctor Barbera and Mike di Meglio.
