New deal in place from Argentina
Citroen Sport has announced the arrival of Red Bull as a sponsor of its programme with the Citroen C4 WRC and its crews Sébastien Loeb/Daniel Elena and Dani Sordo/Marc Marti in the FIA World Rally Championship.

Malaysian GP - Bridgestone - Qualifying
Felipe Massa will start the second round of the championship from pole position after using Bridgestone’s medium compound Potenza tyre to go fastest in qualifying at Sepang for the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Malaysian GP - McLaren Mercedes - Qualifying
McLaren Mercedes drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton will start Sunday’s Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang Circuit from the second row of the grid. Kovalainen was third fastest with a time of 1:36.613s whilst Hamilton’s time of 1:36.709 means that he will start from fourth.

BMW Sauber drivers Robert Kubica and Hick Heidfeld came sixth and seventh respectively in the qualifying session for the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Heidfeld's task was not made any easier by some of his rivals cruising back to the pits while the session was still underway, compromising Heidfeld's final challenge.

Following the incident and accident of Friday running, qualifying proved to be a relatively smooth affair for the Red Bull Renault team.

Force India Ferrari again got within touching distance of making it through to Q2 in the qualifying session for tomorrow's Malaysian Grand Prix, but lost out by a fraction of a second.

Malaysian GP - Toro Rosso Ferrari - Qualifying
Sebastian Vettel is content to line up for the Malaysian Grand Prix in 15th position, while Toro Rosso team-mate Sebastien Bourdais suffered from brake issues and slipped off the circuit on his final run.

Bourdais, who took an engine change ahead of qualifying, starts 18th in the second Ferrari-powered STR2B.

Sato happy to pip Sutil
Malaysian GP - Super Aguri Honda - Qualifying
Given the off-season problems experienced at Super Aguri Honda, both Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson never expect anything but a private battle at the back of the field.

Today however Takuma Sato managed to out-qualify the Force India Ferrari of Adrian Sutil and lines up 18th. Team-mate Davidson starts 21st.
