Camel Yamaha Team rider Valentino Rossi will launch his bid for the MotoGP World Championship title in the best possible circumstances tomorrow after sealing pole position for the final race of the season in today's qualifying session at Valencia.

Red Bull KTM GP 250 rider Hiroshi Aoyama once more delivered a convincing performance on the KTM FRR 250.
The congenial Japanese was fastest in the first qualifying session then underlined his excellent performance in the second session by putting in the best ever lap time for the circuit.

Jorge Lorenzo clocked the second fastest time in qualifying for the 250cc Grand Prix of Valencia.

The Fortuna Aprilia rider was consistently fastest throughout the session and increased his pace over the final laps, with only KTM rider Hiroshi Aoyama able to go faster, by around three tenths.
